BECOME A TRUSTEE
Denton Holme & Longsowerby Community Engagement is a local community group which formalised as an unregistered charity in March 2022. We are currently in the process of registering as a Community Interest Organisation (CIO) with the Charity Commission and are looking for Trustees to volunteer to support us in growing the organisation.
As our group is in its infancy, we are looking for Trustees that could bring any of the following skills to the board: human resources; financial and accounting; fundraising; legal; business/general/operations management; IT/digital; marketing and PR; safeguarding; and strategic development and planning. Most importantly, we are looking for Trustees with enthusiasm for building the success of the group.
We would ask that Trustees can commit approximately 5 hours a month to the role. This would include attending 1 x 1 hour community group meeting each month and 1 x 1 hour board meeting each month. The meetings are held on weekday evenings in Denton Holme.
Outside of meetings we would ask that Trustees contribute around 3 hours per month to the development and operation of the group, at a time and location most convenient to the Trustee.
